Mª del Rosario Rodil Rodríguez obtained her PhD in Chemistry in 2005 (Universidade de Santiago, USC). Then, she was a postdoc researcher at the Department of Analytical Chemistry, UFZ-Umweltforschungzentrum Leipzig-Halle (Germany) (2005-2006) founded by that institution. In 2006 she got a competitive program postdoc (Juan de la Cierva) at the Universidade de A Coruña until April 2009. During this period, she continued her collaboration with “UFZ Leipzig-Halle” during several stages at this institution. In April 2009, she got a senior research position (Ramon y Cajal) at USC until March 2014. From March 2014 she got a position of temporary associate professor until November 2015 when she promoted to Associated Professor, which is her current position. She has published about 110 papers in indexed journals and 6 book chapters in the fields mainly of analytical and environmental chemistry. Her h-index is 38 and her average citation rate is ca. 43.5 cites/publication. She has participated in more than 18 research projects, being PI of two projects supported by Xunta de Galicia. Currently she is co-PI of an AEI (Agencia Estatal de Investigación) project (CTM2017-84763-C3-2-R). She has supervised 4 PhD thesis, currently supervising 3 more, more than 34 works including master's theses and degree/ bachelor's projects and the work of 6 visiting researchers. She is editor of the open access journal, but indexed in the JRC, Separations in addition to acting as a reviewer in various journals in the areas of analytical chemistry and environmental sciences.
