Silviculture, forest growth modelling, silvicultural systems to produce timber and biomass, fire preventive silviculture.

Research results obtained about forest nutrition, forest stand growth and development models, process-based models. Current research interest for silvicultural systems for native southamerican forests and short rotation forestry for bioenergy.
