September 2008-December 2012     “Isidro Parga Pondal” position—five-year tenure track position awarded by the Xunta de Galicia to work at the ACUIGEN group in the Department of Genetics of the USC, Lugo, Spain.

January 2010-July 2010     Visiting researcher at the Genetics and Genomics Division of the Roslin Institute (University of Edinburgh, Scotland, UK). “José Castillejo” travel grant from the Spanish Ministry of Science.
